WHY SHOULD YOUÂ CARE?
Resistant bacteria infect two million new people ever, and out of those infected approximately 23,000 of them die ("About Antibiotic Prescribing, "2015). With those people being admitted to hospitals spreading the disease within the facilities causing countless issues. These issues do not truly have remedies due to the nature of the bacteria and how if one were to attempt to kill the bacteria one would run the risk of the bacteria becoming resistant to any given solution. Antimicrobial resistance will occur regardless of whether people take a stand or not, but do not let this deter you from taking a stand; because we, as a people, may not be able to prevent the inevitable we may be able to prolong the process long enough for a solution to be created (Antimicrobial resistance, 2018). Resistant bacteria are being found in our parks, recreational spaces, and practically anywhere bacteria can be found. Therefore, it is in everyone's best interest to be informed on all things relating to Antimicrobial resistance.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
The subject matter of this website is thought-provoking and informational, but my intent is not to instill fear in the audience. I urge all of those who are reading the content to change their life in a healthy, positive manner. So please, do not lock yourselves within the confines of your rooms; as to prevent infection. You will be fine! Oh and one last thing, one's natural resistance is based upon their genetics and exposure to bacteria, so don't fret if you constantly get sick because you, yourself, are building resistance to bacteria.
